Chinchilla Sanctuary Animals

We have separate accommodation for chinchillas that have come in as rescues (from sources where they needed to be removed urgently due to neglect or mistreatment) or as rehomes (where the owner could no longer look after them or needed help in finding a buyer as the area they lived in was not conducive to chin sales).

There is sometimes a fine line between a rescue and a rehome animal and because of this we will now say they are animals that require sanctuary until they find a new permanent forever home.

All are healthy, and contagious disease free, and have been health checked while in our possession. All genetic and health history available will be supplied on request.

Proceeds from each sale will be given to the previous owner.

Pet brown velvet male

Owned by Croft Chinchillas, but living at Albatross Chinchillas until he find a new home.

Squeak is a 5 year old brown velvet male and has a slightly damaged left ear due a previous cage mate attacking him.

He is healthy and friendly but very small and not suitable for use as a breeding male.
